make up of U19s

Since Mitch's arrival at the club there have been a number of changes to the squad from last season.

The main one being the addition of a number of players from the former Scarborough Town (Academy) squad. All these players have been coached by Mitch and myself for many years, some in fact were with us when Scarborough FC were in the Conference.

All the former Pickering Town players were retained, although a number withdrew due to the fact that they were expected to attend training every week!!

We feel we have a very promising set up with a good squad of players, in future seasons we hope to continue to encourage the best talent in the area to join us; presently we have players from Scarborough, Pickering, Whitby, Malton and York as well as places in between.

Mitch is presently working with Pickering Town Juniors to increase the involvement of their youngsters.

He is also in contact with Lady Lumley's to get them more involved with their local club.

Please come down to Mill Lane and watch our youngsters, I am sure you will enjoy the games, and be watching future First Team players in the raw (very).
