Firstly many congratulations to Tommy Adams for winning the Players Player of the year and also the supporters player of the year, Well done and well deserved.
From the kick-off we pushed forward and could have opened the scoring in the first minute, some really slick passing through the field but alas wide of the mark, we kept up the pressure for about 15-20 mins or so and had 4 or 5 chances again no end result.
By this time Arnold started to play a lot better and moved the ball about using both wings and had a few chances to score but Dave Bramley on top form, pulled off some brilliant saves, this was turning into a really good game with both teams passing the ball about and having some good solo runs as well, however at half time it was 0 - 0 so in for a well deserved drink and a breather.
From the restart we got the ball forward and in a goalmouth scramble the ball ended in the net off Arnolds player Josh Handley, so 1 - 0 Pikes, this was turning out to be a really a good game with both teams having lots of chances with both keepers being busy.
On 73 mins Stewart was subbed with Johnny Brown and his first touch led to a crunching challange from an Arnold player just to welcome him to the game. Johnny replied in kind by going 1 on 1 with the keeper and executing a fine nut-meg straight between his legs 2-0 78 mins.
We now were well on top of the game and had plenty more chances, 0n 82mins Fenwick made way for Taylor and on 84 mins Turnbull came on for Connor, both players getting well involved in the game in the dying minutes, however the game finished at 2-0 so that's 14 games un-beaten at home what a fantastic end to the season for the Players and Management well done lads a truly great performance.

All we have to do now to finish the season with a win away at Armthorpe next Saturday, And also don't forget that the U19's are playing the Pat Rice League Cup Final at Liversedge on Sunday KO 2.30pm I hope lots of us will be there.
