game v Harrogate Railway (a) Empty game v Harrogate Railway (a)

Another defeat which makes it 3 in a row, quite an unprecedented series of results.

This puts the title in Harrogate's hands, but they could still loose it, a most improbable outcome.

Following a fairly mediocre first half we went in 1-0 down, Railway had looked competent, but no more than that and nothing like as good as they were at Mill Lane. We all felt that the game was there for the taking, this proved to be the case as we absolutely slaghtered them in the second half; our goal coming nfrom Tim Taylor following excellent creative play by 16 year old Lewis Taylor.

Unfortunately Railway went down our end, for nearly the only time in the latter 45 mins and scored a scambled effort to give them all the points.

Our lads can be proud of their second half display, with good performances all round but especially from captain Eddie Cass, Russ Parker, Josh Waite and Lewis Taylor, with young sub Aiden Thomas providing an encouraging performance from the bench.

A good performance from the young pikes which deserved more in the points department.
