Any news on new manager yet???????

Just an enquiry to see if Pikes have new manager yet??

Only one or two connected with the Football Club know the definitive answer to that question, but I understand that there will be no disclosure until an appointment is made, and that is not imminent.

Lyle's injury was a nasty one, and the knee is still very swollen. It must be bad, cos he's not been able to play any cricket!! And it takes him an extra 5 minutes to hobble the 200 yards to the White Swan!
As regards next season, I would be very surprised if he wasn't wearing a Pike's shirt.

At the time of the presentation night it was said two applications had been received but it had been decided the position would be kept open until the end of May, now whether that means they thought the two were not suitable, who knows.Names mentioned have been Browny, Paul Ollsen,Reid (bloody hope not)even Craig Short was mentioned along with Woody,word is they were earmarked for the scarboro nomads,a couple of others, oh! and Les Ramm, He! He!!.....

Hey Les Ramm would do it for me if he got support from one of our more senior players (Aziz, Martin, Salt) All three are respected members of the Pikes, Lets hope that the Chairman and commitee see a little more into the future than they did when appointing Mitch.
